Our YouTube journey has taken us on many adventures, from living in our self converted camper vans Koti and Safari, to over landing through Africa in a rooftop tent with an eight month old, road tripping through the USA as Crusoe began to walk, and ultimately to documenting our renovation journey on our farm in Northern Portugal. It has been one heck of a journey and we’re beyond grateful for all of your support and love.
We´ve had so much fun with it all, that we now have TWO YouTube channels, TheNewbys and TheNewbys Explore.
We feel so deeply grateful for the online community we have around us.
Our Portugal Homestead
From our homestead, we release new episodes every Wednesday and Sunday on YouTube, as we document the renovation of our farm in Northern Portugal. It’s a whole heap of fun, and connecting with you all through our channel has been one of the very best bits of this entire journey.

Our Family Travels
Travel is where this whole YouTube journey started with us, and it runs in our blood. As the boys grow we’re determined that they see as much of the world as possible, and that they understand how beautiful and nuanced it is.
This new project will follow us as we take Crusoe and Sawyer on the adventure of a lifetime. It began with five weeks in India in January 2024 which was a hugely successful series on our channel. Next up, we’re off to Borneo and Thailand and Kenya, so make sure you’ve subscribed to never miss an upload. The adventure is just beginning, and it’s going to be fun!
